Land Surveying Services

Tri City Offices Land Surveying is a distinct professional position with separate licensing requirements from civil engineers in which data is collected from the field and converted into a graphical representation, a map, of the Earth's surface.

This mapping information is then used by a civil engineer and other professionals to design for and ultimately build those things society requires.  Licensed land surveyors are commonly considered necessary for property boundary surveys and legal descriptions, subdivision plans to create lots and public right of ways, data describing both natural and man-made features of land, and construction staking or lay-out of reference points to guide construction.

ALTA survey (American Land Title Association) is a specialized boundary survey that meets the specific needs for land title insurance purposes.
