Marilu is a California Professional Engineer License No. C-79864. She is also certified as a Qualified Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Developer (QSD) and Qualified Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Practitioner (QSP). She has completed Caltrans Local Assistance Training Resident Engineers Academy courses to facilitate projects through Caltrans.

Ms. Salinas is an Associate Engineer for Tri City Engineering with over 6 years’ experience covering various aspects of civil engineering design, construction management and construction inspection.

She began her practice prior to graduating college by interning with Quad Knopf during the summer of 2005 and 2006 and December of 2006. While there she started as a Business Services Intern and was appointed a CAD Technician Intern. As a CAD technician she assisted in grading, drainage, and improvement plans for subdivisions, commercial, and multi-family developments as well as performing calculations as needed and revising redline plans as requested.

In 2008 after graduating with her Civil Engineering Degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Ms Salinas joined the Tri City Engineering team. As an associate engineer Miss Salinas is responsible for street and roadway design, grading and drainage design, storm water storage design, sewer and water systems, SWPPP preparation, dust and erosion control plans, improvement plans, cost estimating, construction bidding documents, project management, project inspection, product submittal review, and overall management of public works projects. She is very familiar with project requirements involving Federal and/or State of California funding.
